I claim the position of second member! I hope that this forum will reach beyond the stages of infancy and expand. The Pokemon Ranger games are my favourites out of the entire franchise, just above Emerald and Platinum. I remember buying the first one quite a while ago. My first reaction? "..." "What on earth is this?" Needless to say, I liked it very much, as I bought the sequel as soon as it was released. My favourite characters are Lunick , Ice, The Go-Rock Quads as a unit, and Professor Hastings. Gordor is a character I find very interesting, but he isn't a favourite.

A photonovel? That's a rather old form of media, isn't it?
Are you familiar with the Japanese I-400 submarine?

@leslie A noble vision, to spread Pokemon Ranger. Let us attest to the everlasting glory of Pokemon Ranger and Team Rocket! Of course, when I imagine the concept of Glory, this goes off in my mind: A photonovel? That's a rather old form of media, isn't it? Are you familiar with the Japanese I-400 submarine? Yep the aircraft carrying submarine. I just finished a model of hte the japanese cruiser Yahagi. Yah a photonovel im using figures of Pokemon rangers i made myself out of clay perhapes i should show you soon. Were it not for various unfortunate occurences, they could have been commissioned on schedule and perhaps turned the tide of the war. Imagine the possibilities that technology would have had in 1943. Bioweaponry wasn't new to the Japaanese. Imagine how it could have been utilised by these types of stealthcraft to infilict devastation and terror on the West Coast of the USA. The possibilities could go on. (See: Panama Canal)

the novel is the pokemon world is at war with a evil empire and the rangers get in the thick of the war ill be showing clay figures of some of the badguys in this novel series the first series centers on Kate who is taken prisoner by the badguys. Let me correct you on Yamato Yamato was not named after admiral Yamamotto but named after the ancient Japanese Yamato Province en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_battleship_Yamato

An evil empire? I...uh...see. In what way would it be "evil"? Moral depravity? Puppy-kicking? Card-carrying villainy? Mhah.
Oh, yes. Of course. What was I thinking? My sleep-deprived mind is making me silly. An amateur and ridiculous mistake.
Ah well. European History is more my forte anyway, the Mongols being the exception to that rule.

Its a empire that want to take over the world and they will stop at nothing even the use of military force. Im thinking in one novel Team Galactic was remade by saturn and battled the empire and were crushed. The Imperial soldiers are very well trained and there is also a Imperal secret Police force called the ISDP or Imperal State Defence Police. I hope to find a better name if you have any ideas im open for them.

Ah. I wouldn't call that evil. I would call that militaristic ambition. The moral concept of "evil" only stretches so far in plausible application beyond the imaginations and views of those considered "good".
Didn't Saturn aim at making TG solely an energy company after the Spear Pillar debacle? I don't think he would aim at armed behaviour after that tragedy.
I have a question. How exactly do you plan to implement military action? Will there be use of modern weaponry correlating to our world? I would think that a bit out of place, given the nature of the Pokemon world and what can be assumed of its development.
A name for the empire? That depends. What sort of government does it have? Is it a literal empire, ruled by a sole autocrat? If so, it should likely be named for its ruler.
How exactly would this empire have come into existence in what is largely viewed as a republic and democracy oriented pokemon world? What is its region/country of origin? Had the other nations turned a blind eye to it, unintentionally allowing its growth? Or had they tried to supress it? I don't think it would apppear from nowhere. Perhaps background is needed, mm?
