Just as the subject says - Why do you support the shippings you support, or how did you start shipping them? (Or, if you don't support any pairings, feel free to disclose why. xD)

Oh you just HAD to make this thread, lucky for me I already typed it up on my shipping list XD Your going to make me go off ranting XD

[Rangershipping - Lunick/Kazuki x Solana/Hinata ¢¾¢¾¢¾¢¾¢¾] My ultimate OTP, EVER. Eversince I started playing pokemon ranger, I fell in love with pairing to the ultimate. The hints in the games just show it so well, even when you choose to be the girl or guy. How they get paired up with each other in missions is just so cute. Heck, even the manga can explain more. Lunick's profile says he's been rejected 12 times due to missions, he often gets paired up with Solana on missions. At the end the manga, Lunick lifted Solana in his arms, helping her out. She was shooked at first but then relized she was tierd and accepted the help. Thats just to cute! Also, in the ranger game, the special mission Solana and Lunick were set on vacation TOGETHER, at the end Caremon says the heat is comming from this lovey-dovey couple right in front of him, the two looked at each other then turned around in embaressement, Plusle and Minun cheering or laughing at them. I will stop ranting about this pairing since i could go on forever, so thats that.

[Oblivashipping - Natsuya x Minami¢¾¢¾¢¾¢¾¢¾] Second Official favorite pairing. This pairing, even when the english version hasn't even come out yet, I ADORE this pairing. Like I said I am an addict to the counterpart pairings. And this one just looks too cute to pass on. When Natsuya appeared in the anime, when he lost hsi styler, I just started to love him as the clumsy but serious type. I can imagine Minami as the serious and hit Natsuya when he makes stupid mistakes type of person. But thats just me. We shall see when the english version comes out. :3

[Almiashipping - Kellyn/Hajime x Kate/Hitomi] I can pretty much say I am a ADDICT to counterpart characters. Even when the games don't come out in english, If I see them cute, hook them up. I was sad to know that which ever one you choose, the other won't appear like in the first game. But they have made another Ranger comic with the two starring in it, and I fell in love with it. I laughed when Kellyn made her wash her hand when she touched his stuff. Kate would get angry if Kellyn just wouldn't listen to her, or say her name. Kellyn starts to admire Kate after she shows off her mechanical skills. I love the "serious and cool" types with the "spunky and active" types together. It just creates more comedy and love XD
[Vatonageshipping - Keith/Dazzle x Kate/Hitomi] I didn't know about this shipping until the english version of the 2nd ranger game came out. Its cute how when you play the girl, Keith gives out a long grin, stated by Ms. April. After that you had to choose between the yellow gem or Keith to Yellow. Seems like she cares ALOT about Keith more than the gem. Finally, where you had to face Darkrai and you were being sucked up in darkness, Keith saves you at the last minute while screaming her name. The two care about each other and its such a cute paring if you squint.

My made up shipping I created. I always loved Almia and Vatonageshipping. But I could never decide which was better. So I thought, ”Why not let both guys fight for her heart?” Since both shippings show very good hints, it’s a competition for Kate’s heart! And because I LOVE, love triangles. XD

To tell the truth and nothing but the truth, I am not a fan of counterpart-shipping for the sake of them being counterparts. Lunick x Solana has its hints and charms enough to be the exception. My interpretation of their personalities are more along the lines of the W-mission comic, since I liked that comic unlike the SoA one and such characters translated well into the idea of coupling them together. Lunick being the eager, perhaps a little foolhardy, teenage boy with all his stereotypical charms, loves to impress girls but is not "skilled" enough at romance to keep them by his side. Solana is the mature character, who supposes, and is supposed, to fill out what's missing of Lunick while also keeping him "in line", but in reality cannot help but easily overcome by her feelings towards him which she vainly thinks to conceal before him. In my fanverse, Lunick has the capabilities to jump head-on into peril for Solana's sake while still making her laugh and ultimately unable to be upset with him, and she has the capability to fully understand his character due to the long period of being partners with him, and still act as the voice of reason to bridle his singleminded zeal.

I am yet to play the ToL, NOR be completely spoiled of its storyline, so I don't have much substance to support Natsuya x Minami with as of yet. (I do know of a couple hints, though.) But I sort of end up attributing similar characteristics as RangerShipping to this couple as well. Natsuya the hot-headed, optimistic hero boy and Minami the calm and gentle hero girl... Somehow, I think it fits. I can't really think of any really convincing reason of liking this pairing right now... I JUST DO! ;D

Came up with this idea after Natsuya and Redeye trading off the captive Minami for Blue eye in the ranger game. So I made Redeye like Minami XD As long as Natsuya wins I'm okay with it, I just want jealousy wars

VatonageShipping.

The reason I came to support VatonageShipping is a little weird. I clearly started supporting it after playing Shadows of Almia, assuming that the hero is Kate, YET in my fan mind Kellyn is the hero of SoA. Of course, I made Kellyn the hero 'cause I liked him better, but Kate still gets to keep Keith. ;D And for me, it still works out perfectly. xD Whether I think of Kate's personality more along the lines of the SoA game or the webcomic (actually, I imagine it to be somewhat of a mix of the two), I think she and Keith have very complementary characters, a vivacious tomboy who can be headstrong and a bit-foolish-type man of action. And looks-wise, too. They just look so cute together!

Funny shippy name that’s for sure XD Wendy and Sven both are top rangers. I would like to see some competition between these two, as well as showing some feelings for each other, even though Sven is a ladies man of course XD

I've supported Rangershipping ever since I finished the Groudon mission and noticed Solana and Lunick;s reactions to Cameron's pun, it cracked me up too. I also like Oblivia and Red EyesxMinami (I have no name for it) Oblivia reigns though. XD And your very own WhosOnTopshipping sounds like something I support becuase we all know its true... XDDD

Since I first played Pokemon Ranger, the two main couples I have been unable to choose between are Rangershipping and LazyPervertshipping, mainly because LazyPervertshipping was the first one I supported, but I saw the obvious hints for Rangershipping in-game, too...

Spenser/Solana - I always saw it as Solana being a student that seriously had it bad for her teacher or something. It was always amusing to think about for me. Over time, it's grown to be one of my favorite shippings. Funny thing, when I first saw Lunick, I totally knew he was going to be a love interest for Solana, so I was like, "Get out of here, other guy, Spenser saw her first!" but I really do like that pairing, too. In all fairness, though, Spenser/Solana was here first for me...oh, and something that randomly made me think of the pairing is when Spenser notices the tan that you apparently got after going to Summerland. It was such a random thing to notice on his part!

Lunick/Solana - This one should be obvious. Quickly got used to Lunick, and I kinda imagined him as a love rival for Spenser...though I did like Spenser/Solana more, in my little imagination, Lunick/Solana would be canon in the end, and Spenser would end up getting with Elita. The Lunick/Solana shipping grew on me more and more in the game, especially when I finally reached the Groudon mission, thus I grew to love the pairing! <3

Staraptor/Wendy - Don't look at me funny. I know it's a weird pairing, but I've always liked a few Human/Poke ships. Besides, Wendy herself admitted this is canon. Though it'd be better with a gijinka Staraptor or something.

Keith/Kate - Don't even get me started! I absolutely love this pairing. Keith is adorable in SoA, and I swear he is constantly flirting with Kate. I always imagine a contrast in personalities, with her kinda being a bookworm and him being a joker who just wants her to lighten up, but he constantly gets on her nerves in his attempts. Adorable. <3

Kellyn/Rhythmi - This mostly originated with me wanting Kellyn with someone. I imagine Kellyn to be the jealous type, kinda, so I can imagine him not getting along with Sven because of this.

Kellyn x Darkrai (ShadowCrystalShipping)

When I first became Kellyn fangirl, I was an Almiashipper. But then Keith came along and stole my heart completely away from Almiashipping. Firmly supporting both VatonageShipping and MeasureShipping, I had absolutely no suitable girl for my most beloved guy Ranger. :'[

Meanwhile, on the other corner of my crazy fan mind, I was busy equating the Rangers to knights from fairy tales. I don't know why, but I just thought the Union will make an awesome Order, only better. xD And then the ball started rolling - hmm, knights... they seige castles, don't they? Wasn't there the Altru Tower to fill in that role? Blake Hall = the evil warlock! Then is Darkrai the dragon? It's the guardian of the crystal, after all. No, that's not dramatic enough... Hmm... Darkrai was kidnapped from its home by Hall, right? Then it was locked up within the top of the Tower, and the Rangers come to its rescue. So maybe dragon +... the damsel in distress? I guess that Darkrai *could* pass as a female if I tried really hard... Wait a second, who will be "her knight," then? Who rescues Darkrai directly in the end? Who "connects with her heart" by capturing her? KELLYN!

Isaac x Rhythmi (MeasureShipping)

Had no idea this pairing even existed, until I saw it in a fanfiction. xD And right then and there I realized it WORKED. xDD After all, I characterize Rhythmi to be the "brain" and the "voice of reason" of the KellynKeithRhythmi trio, so she shares a lot in common with Isaac for me. Plus, I didn't really want either of the guys to be romantically involved with Rhythmi, for the sake of their threesomeness. So I made them each date someone from outside their clique, basically.
